Femme assise nue

This is the first of several studies of François Boucher’s nude women drawings. I used a Rembrandt Peach soft pastel stick framed by masking tape, graphite and sanguine pencils from Daler Rowney and for the highlights General's White charcoal pencil.

Femme nue de dos

Here is a quick study of the back of a nude woman. It was a good subject and lighting to practice volume and crosshatching. For it I have used Daler Rowney’s Artists Sketching and Graphic Pencils and have stained the paper with a Rembrandt Peach soft pastel stick. The highlights have been made with the Faber Castell putty eraser.
